Marguerite Marschner is exceptional!!!
Her combination of intelligence and kindness is rare.
Her exam was thorough and perceptive.
Her guidance and interpretation of the test results reduced my confusion and fear. Her guidance gives me so much hope!

Very pleased with staff and procedure on the Colonoscopy
I was amazed of how friendly and caring the staff was during my recent visit for a colonoscopy. Dr. Stewart and his team were caring, informative and professional. From the front desk, colonoscopy procedure, to post op, they were all awesome. Thanks Dr Stewart and team. You all deserve a raise. 😉
Dr Mark Jensen is a great doctor. He is kind, understanding, and explains everything to you. This last time I went it all went good until I went to get a prescription. They messed up on what the prescription says so I could not get it from my pharmacy. Then when I was going to call a nurse called I told her the dilemma she said she'd pass it on. And it was about a week ago that that happened and nobody has fixed it. I finally got someone to fix it after having to be stern and demanding on when I need this done then I got a different doctors nurse up there that was not happy how I talked. This all could have been avoided if Dr Jensen's nurse would have put the prescription in right on the first time. That is why I gave this place a four stars.
I recently had a colonoscopy at Granite Peaks and was EXTREMELY pleased with the entire staff and overall patient experience. From the time of scheduling, the front office was accommodating and informative about the steps involved for the procedure. They had a smooth online registration portal, multiple appointment reminders, and a nurse called a few days before to address any remaining concerns. The front office was clean and comfortable and they ran right on time, which was nice since your ride is required to remain onsite. My prep nurse was extremely patient, knowledgeable, and helpful. IV nurse & Anesthesiologist were quick and made for a painless (otherwise awkward) experience. Dr. Desautels performed the procedure and came into the recovery room, right upon waking, to deliver the results and answer my remaining questions. Having worked in the healthcare space and helped practices ensure they have a nice patient experience, I can say first hand that this office has it down perfectly.
I was referred here by a friend. And I'm so glad I was. They are professional, listen and explain everything so well.
My mom visited Granite Peaks Gastro for a Colonoscopy and was having some concerns the day prior to her procedure. She called and spoke to nurse Holly who went above and beyond to make sure my mom’s preparation and procedure went smoothly. Holly took extra time out of her day to provide personal touch care. On the day of my moms procedure Holly even came to check on her in recovery even though she wasn’t my moms nurse. Sarah was her nurse and she was also excellent in providing care for mom. Highly recommend the Granite Peaks staff.
I am a new patient and explained the issues I've had. The doctor listened and helped my concerns. However, I was never told that the diagnostic anoscopy was going to be seperate from the office visit. After a few weeks they were able to remove the code and help me out. Good business.
Looking at the wound which is only 10cm from practically the rest of the room, without advanced tech, hardly sounds any type of scopy that renders any financial addition that costs the same as the appointment!
Yes, I am aware doctors dont know additional costs beforehand, but let me know if this isnt included, having a doctor checking my behind internally at least 10cm twice before. That was included in the appointment cost, I am not crazy to assume this.
I am in pain and cant remember to ask these important things sometimes that shows how gastro and general physicians bills are different, fill me in, someone, anyone. We talked about a colonoscopy which would've flew by this area anyways so why double charge me?
I already knew and explained I had a fissure and hemmroids, the doctor understood. I was never informed this was going to cost extra to do a mini procedure to confirm the obvious, I would never have approved.
Why is it maybe an expectation that I have to explain what feels like every detail to the doctor to be heard and the burden is on me the patient to ask if something is going to cost extra at the turn of the conversation. I am a sub teacher and I know I have to give clear expectations to my students before consequences of any sort, I don't see how this is any different.
Since the doctor should be focused, shouldn't a nurse explain this to me before starting any additions from the new patient visit? I don't have the money I am a substitute teacher and exercise really good precaution with my diet, related exercises and better-ing techniques and all, so that I am doing my part as a patient.

Exceptional caring professionals with a great sense of humor. 🤣🤣🤣. It was such a fun experience, I’m going back in 5 years. Thank you! lol. Seriously, I highly recommend this clinic. They will definitely keep your colon healthy and happy. I would give a 10 star review if I could.👍
I just had my colonoscopy procedure today. I can't say that many look forward to this, I being one of them. The prep wasn't bad at all. I liked how they broke it up into 2 sessions- evening and the morning before.
Everyone was so kind and nice from the beginning at the reception desk to the discharge. Holly- RN, Nicole- Anesthesiologist,
Tyler- post procedure. Dr. James Stewart was wonderful. He was very personable, professional, and took the time to listen to my concerns. He explained his findings after the procedure. I was very pleased to have him as my physician.

I was referred here by my primary urgent care office, and I am glad I was. The front desk women were kind, welcoming, and the help I received with insurance questions was reassuring. Amy, who help me before Dr. Jensen, was incredible. She made me feel safe, comfortable, and less embarrassed about my situation. Dr. Jensen’s visit was informing and quick, and was able to resolve my issue. The nurse practitioner in the room was sweet and comforting as well. Overall, I am grateful for this location and everyone who works here. Thank you!
Rachel is very kind, helpful and most importantly knowledgeable. She makes you feel heard and has created a clear path for me to getting better. Highly recommended.
May is AWESOME! She’s very knowledgeable and she listens to everything you say! All the people in the front office are kind!
Simple Checkin, staff was very friendly, and Dr Schmidt listened and prognosed from there. Thx
Rachel was very professional and friendly. The gastrology staff was helpful to be sure I was ready for procedure. They went out their the way to be sure I was not embarrassed. Dr Schmidt was very professional and kind . The procedure was easy. I would recommend Granite GI.
He has been a good doctor and always returns calls
She was so kind and explained every step. She made a horrible procedure much more comfortable. Thank you for the professionalism, I highly recommend Granite Peaks!
May Marschner was incredible and did a great job addressing the concerns quickly. Thank you again May!
I have now had 3 colonoscopy’s with Granite Peaks and would highly recommend them.

Everything about this visit was on point except when I arrived it took about 15 mins to check in. The front receptionist had a line of people and took a very long time to check us in. MyMy appointment was at 12:45 and I didn’t get checked in until 1PM. After that I waited about 10-15 more mins to get called back.
Once called back everyone ng went pretty smooth. Dr. Marschner was a good listener, she made me feel comfortable, and personable. I will definitely be going back to her! Going to a gastroenterologist is embarrassing in general but shr
made me feel bbb no pp
