Gastroenterology Symptom
There are many causes of unexplained weight loss. However, in all cases, sudden, unexplained weight loss and a decreased appetite are worrisome and should be evaluated by a physician.
During your first visit to Granite Peaks, a physical exam will be performed and a thorough medical history will be taken. This exam and discussion with your doctor will be crucial to discovering the cause of your symptoms and identifying the appropriate course of treatment.
Depending on the results, your doctor may want to perform additional testing including blood work, radiologic imaging and/or an endoscopy. Regardless of the treatment you require, Granite Peaks Gastroenterology has offices located in Salt Lake and Utah counties to conveniently serve you.
