J. David Schmidt, M.D.

Dr. Schmidt received his B.A. in Biology from the University of Vermont in Burlington, VT in 1996. In 2000, he received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA. He completed his Internship and Residency at the Lankenau Hospital in 2004 in Wynnewood, PA, where he also served as Chief Medical Resident. He completed his Gastroenterology Fellowship in 2008 from the Lankeau Hospital as well.

Dr. Schmidt is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and is currently Board Eligible in Gastroenterology. He is active on the medical staff at Alta View Hopsital.

He and his wife enjoy hiking and exploring the Utah outdoors.
